The food, service, and atmosphere were awesome! 10/10 their coffees and daily specials were delicious.

Nice breakfast place. People were very friendly. I'd go here again if I'm in St Charles.

Nice place in Historic St. Charles. I had ordered the short ribs with poached eggs. When it first came out, the eggs were solid and the beef was crispy crunchy. It almost seemed like they deep fried the beef. I only took a piece of the meat, to try, and said nope. Called the waitress over and asked if they would remake it. Poached eggs need to be at least slightly runny, unless requested hard. Short ribs are to be tender, not crunchy and black. When she came back with my new plate it was a whole different look. Everything was perfect. The flavors were great and I couldn't have asked for anything better. I was very happy with my choice and glad I asked them to remake it. I would give them 4.5 stars just because if my plate came out the first time, like it had after remaking, they would definitely get a full 5. Coffee was nice and my cup never ran dry.

Delicious food! The new location is nice. I loved the short rib breakfast stack. It was like an eggs Benedict.

After a long walk at Frontier Park the next best thing is eating at this cafe. Upon walking in sultry , well lit and calming environment. Seated quickly at bar for my me date breakfast. Staff friendly. I ordered Coffee drip and Chicken and Waffles. Delicious. Slow service but well worth the wait. Coffee hot and steamy, chicken tender and seasoned well , waffles soft and moist and breakfast potatoes cooked thoroughly. Prices reasonable and menu options are plentiful. Great meal and kudos to the chef .

We looked for a new adventure close to home. We weren't disappointed with Frontier Perk Cafe. As many others stated, this is a small cafe in downtown St Charles. There is a good selection of food for both lunch and breakfast. The Americano I ordered was good too, but being charged for half and half was a little weird. That usually comes with coffee. Jake greeted us, and he did a great job making sure the customer area stayed cleaned. I will say he seemed serious in his personality. He did lighten up some as we talked to him more. There are 5 tables indoors. Neat decor on the walls. It has an "at home" feel. If you like spicy, the breakfast tacos are a hit. The Braised Short Rib Eggs Benedict was phenomenal! There were a number of pastries to choose from, but we did not partake in those. All in all, we will go back! We enjoyed it.

This a small coffee shop with about 6 tables for seating, but they should be expanding soon. The food menu has a nice variety of breakfast and lunch. I ordered the chicken and waffles while my wife ordered a slice of quiche and a specialty latte. All the food was outstanding. My wife was very happy with her quiche! We ordered 2 cinnamon rolls to go, which they nicely brought out at the end of our meal. They even offered a coffee to go if we needed. Really appreciated the nice service at the end of our meal.

This place has been on my list to try for quite some time. They have a very quaint area of seating inside and outside. Please make sure to order your food first inside, then be seated. Their menu offers many different choices and will have something for everyone. I ordered the breakfast plate with eggs, toast, bacon and breakfast potatoes and was perfectly full by the time I left. You can tell there were a lot of regulars here as many people were coming in for a quick cup of coffee. The food was amazing. The area was perfect and the service was very friendly!

Parking on main street, the lots behind by the water or the dedicated lot upon entrance into the area. Cute little shop. There are about five tables inside and three outside. Service is excellent all around. You enter. Place your order. And then grab a table or you will get a number and the staff will let you know when a table is available. We only had to wait about 5 minutes around 11 on Saturday. Extensive breakfast and lunch menu. Everything was delish. Had the breakfast tacos. Lots of flavor. Slightly spicy. Not greasy at all. The breakfast potatoes were crispy and not dry. Pancake was ok. Iced Cafe latte with sugar free vanilla was good. They have lots of pastries, really wanted the apple pie, next time!
